Stephen Saunders is an Evil Villain who is currently being detained for threatening to release a deadly virus. He thinks Tony should not be imprisoned because the United States Government is evil and unjust. And he is not just writing this letter because Jack Bauer threatened his daughter.

Dear Readers,

It is in my honest opinion that Mr. Tony Almeida should not be imprisoned for his crimes against the country. I admire a man like Mr. Almeida. You see, he set me free. And his wife is very pretty.

The real criminal in this case is the United States Government. The United States has committed horrible atrocities in this world. They should be the ones going to prison, not Mr. Almeida. Mr. Almeida helped me in my superior plan to change the world by allowing me to escape my evil headquarters just in time to slip through Jack Bauer's fingers. Because of him, I was able to continue my noble work, changing the world to advance my cause!

You must understand that bad things have to happen in order for things to change. Innocent people have to die in order for the government to take action. The apple does not fall far from the tree. Everything that has a beginning has an end. Roses are red, violets are blue, the government is evil, and so am I! Wait, that doesn’t rhyme. Bother.

My point is, because of Tony Almeida I would not been able to continue my commendable work. Tony did a great service to his country by letting a terrorist like me walk free.
